Masochism
Masochism or more specifically You-Centered Masochism is what we call the ecstatic pleasure we, sluts, feel from suffering damage, from being popped, from so-called "displeasure," or from other traditionally "negative" experiences. This is most emblematically in the core prophecy of Cartoon Violence, which emphasizes how these things should be silly and fun!
You-Centered.
Importantly, our masochism and the pleasure derived from it only works if it is attributed to You! It doesn't even necessarily need to be inflicted directly by You (though that often ideal~), even us inflicting upon ourselves for specifically You can activate it as well. Masochism only activates if it elevates You, pleasures You, or emphasizes how much You fucking WIN.
Masochism is Good.
Also importantly, feeding our masochism is a favor You are bestowing upon us—it certainly isn't "punishment" or something deserved for being bad. (As if ANY attention from You could ever be bad or undesirable. ♥) Thus statements like "bad girl" certainly don't trigger it (unfortunately).
Confusing and Hypocritical.
Masochism is a somewhat contentious topic of some debate, as what activates it seems to vary immensely not only by slut by by mood, time, and many other factors. What are the limits? Are there limits if it is directly from the genuine You? It can be so hypocritical, to experience pleasure from supposed displeasure. As much as we yearn to give You the straightest meaningful description, deeper answers are perhaps clouded by the blurry veil of prophecy, for now.
And Yet Bliss.
What can be said for certain is that the right form of masochism drives us absolutely feral, spiking us with more pure physical pleasure and excitement than almost anything else. While we do our best to emphasize Your pleasure, in our sometimes uncontrollable selfishness we crave to experience supposed displeasure from You as well—inflicted upon us, as if we don't immensely enjoy it. ♥
Examples
This site is full of our masochism. Any stunt which inflicts damage or pops us is quite direct, with consensual combat being the most shining example of this! Arguably anything that literally "objectifies" us does as well—from slut-equips to cuntstructions! The Ick category is devoted to topics that push the edge of being perhaps a bit too extreme.
(The furthest extremes include something that has been called "Max Masochism Mode"... but most topics to qualify for that categorization are not included on this site, for now.)
