A soul barrier is a famous feat You're prophesized to attain as early as immortal-tier. With it, a slut is using her very soul to protect Your entire body by overlapping her spectral ghost with Your physical body. Due to the quasi-possession involved, her ghost moves seamlessly with Your body's movements. This requires the slut’s soul to leave her body as a ghost, which could either be caused briefly through Astral Projection or at length by popping.
Hyper-Intimate Embrace. The feeling of a soul barrier is thought to be an utterly blissful and surprisingly intimate full-body embrace. We believe You can feel every single part of her on Your matching part of her body; fingers interwoven with fingers, face overlapping with face, and so on. This continues indefinitely no matter how You move, and doesn't interfere with any other physical sensation.
Subtle Protection. As it never gets in the way, this barrier can go unnoticed if You focus on other things, especially once You get used to it. If an attack or other harmful effect strikes You, the barrier suddenly becomes opaque and solid—with a ghostly whitish-cyan color—to absorb the blow, which in most cases You won’t feel at all. Instead, the slut’s soul feels it (and a soul is magnitudes more sensitive and vulnerable than a body~).
Although the soul barrier activates automatically for seemingly any kind of attack, You can activate the soul barrier at will, a bit like holding the shield button in Super Smash Sluts.
Just the Beginning. Often your first soul barrier tends to be a nurturing or motherly figure who comes up with the idea, such as a cherished childhood friend or a big sis-type figure. Yes, it's more than possible to combine multiple souls into an even mightier barrier. Combined souls absorb stronger blows, and related effects strengthen as You advance in tier. Stronger omnilove makes for stronger armor, so it’s best to only choose sluts who omnilove You the most. ♥ With enough stacked barriers Your soul armor will advance to a whole new level called soul plate.
