Love Beam is a Fairy-type move that can be used either as a support move or as a ranged attack. At lower tiers, it is among the most powerful moves a slut can perform but is very slow to execute, requires exceptionally high levels of love per the Power Principle, and has a high meter cost.

Action

For a full second the user charges up love-ki, often gaining a hot pink aura. After charging, a hot peak beam of energy blasts forth at tremendous speed from the center of the slut's chest, shooting in a straight line. This beam can be sustained for several seconds (by holding down the action button) to increase the hitbox duration with 1 extra meter consumed per half-second.
  When the love-beam hits You specifically, the slut's power is added directly to Yours. This usually accompanies a flare in Your love-ki aura if You have one. The effect of this power transfer is directly proportional to tier; if You're operating at goddess-tier for example a goddess-tier love beam will be a major buff, but a lesser empress-tier love beam will have negligble effect. Still, thousands of empress-tier love beams combined could be even more effective.
  When the love-beam hits anyone but You, it instead functions as a more conventional attack with sharp lightning-bolt-like smiting damage. A sustained beam is a multi-hit move that will trap anyone hit by it until it ends, at which point they (likely) go flying.

Trivia

• A user typically makes a heart-beam with her hands to aid with aiming but it isn't required to launch the beam.
• Often the action is augmented by a heartgao beamface, with the face-beams having the same effect as the main beam.
• Love Nova is a move of similar nature that is even stronger, but self-sacrificial.
