Popstar or Star World is an Earth-like planet famous throughout the Milky Way Galaxy. While there are a few inhabitants who appear to be human sluts, the vast majority are a wide variety of fantastical plushy furries and critters from piranha plants to chain chomps. Mushroom Kingdom is the world's most renowned and populous nation, but others include Smashville, Dream Land, Sarasaland, and the Koopa Kingdom.
Kingdoms
The few dozen nations of Popstar are each traditionally called Kingdoms, with You as the only true "king" of each. Symbolically (and perhaps literally) each nation is run by a renowned Princess or Empress ruling from a lavish castle dedicated to Your glory.
These kingdoms have waged religious wars upon each other — primarily over disagreements over You and beliefs surrounding You. Today there is an uneasy peace, though a few are known to take periodically aggressive actions.

Some of the world's more influential kingdoms include:
- Temperate, peaceful, and prosperous Mushroom Kingdom ruled by Princess Peach.
- Molten, monster-filled Koopa Kingdom dominated by Empress Bowser — known sometimes as Bowsette, Bowsanna, or Bowseanne.
- Vast, whimsical, and plushy Dream Land is administered by Queen (Empress) Sectonia.
- Friendly and furry-filled Smashville Kingdom assisted by (Princess) Isabelle.
- Sweltering and sandy Sarasaland (or "Sand Kingdom") governed by Princess Daisy and her cohort genie Shantae.
- Sprawling urban New Donk City overseen by mayor and diva (Princess) Pauline.
- Popstar-orbiting Comet Kingdom guided by the Cosmic (Empress) Rosalina.
- Mechanical, soft-scifi, cute-bot Robobot Kingdom operated by Haltmann CEO (Princess) Susie.
- Mystical, slimegirl-filled Shadow Kingdom led by Shadow Queen (Empress) Vivian.
- Spooky, eternally-twilit Ghost Valley haunted by Queen (Empress) Boo.
- Archipelago armada Pirate Kingdom subjugated by Captain Syrup and/or Risky Boots (depending on if the two are feuding on a given day).
- Shake Dimension supervised by Queen Merelda.
- Tropical and carefree Yoshi Island subdued by diva (Princess) Birdo.
- Recently-conquered DK Island and various other isle territories subjucated by Queen K. Rool.
The Star Council are a set of the world's most prominent and powerful sluts, numbering around 24. The definition for who is and isn't included is somewhat amorphous, but generally includes the most influential Kingdom-rulers plus Wapeach, Meta Knight, Ashley, "Game Over Gruntilda," Goombella, a Golden Chain Chomp, and a hivemind of Piranha Plants — plus likely more, depending who You ask.
